Capitol Art Walk & Aria Salon

For more than a decade, Aria Salon was a proud participant in the Capitol Hill Art Walk, a monthly event bringing together local artists, businesses, and the community to celebrate creativity and diversity. Located in the heart of Seattle’s vibrant Capitol Hill neighborhood, Aria Salon regularly transformed its chic, modern space into a gallery showcasing the works of emerging and established artists.

Each month, Aria Salon curated a unique selection of artwork, featuring diverse styles ranging from contemporary paintings to mixed media and photography. The salon’s sleek and inviting atmosphere provided the perfect backdrop for these exhibitions, allowing visitors to experience art in an unconventional yet intimate setting. Guests could browse the artwork, meet the featured artists, and engage in conversations about inspiration and technique while enjoying light refreshments.

Beyond simply displaying art, Aria Salon’s participation in the Capitol Hill Art Walk reflected its deep commitment to supporting local creatives. By offering a space for artists to gain exposure, the salon helped foster a sense of community and collaboration within Seattle’s thriving arts scene. Many of the showcased pieces were available for purchase, giving attendees the opportunity to take home a one-of-a-kind work while directly supporting the artists.

In addition to visual art, Aria Salon occasionally hosted live demonstrations, performance art, and interactive experiences that enhanced the Art Walk’s dynamic energy. Whether through special collaborations with hairstylists showcasing hair as an art form or local musicians setting the ambiance, each Art Walk at Aria Salon was a unique and engaging experience.

In 2024, Bianca Brookman, the visionary behind Aria Salon, sold the business to pursue her best life. While Aria Salon’s chapter in the Capitol Hill Art Walk came to a close, Bianca continues its legacy of merging beauty, creativity, and community.

This gallery pays homage to that commitment to creativity and commuity.
